Job description

Works with research and quality teams on multiple projects and collaborating study teams to develop the research approach and then executes administrative and regulatory tasks in support of these projects. May contribute to writing related papers and grant proposals in support of research activities.

  1. Serves as major contributing member to the research program, coordinating and administering research study activities.
  2. Assists in project planning, and ensures pre-established work scope, study protocol, and regulatory requirements are followed.
  3. Collects data resulting from projects and collaborates on presentation of findings and their significance in various settings such as lab meetings, conferences, and may author or co-author research findings and present at national conferences.
  4. May contribute to development of funding proposals for research projects and prepare grant proposals and applications.
  5. Serves as principle administrative liason for assigned research projects.
  6. May supervise, train, and evaluate staff and student assistants to meet changing department needs.
  7. Supports general research operations to ensure proper methods, procedures and techniques and provides technical guidance and direction. 
  8. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
