Business Operations is the glue of DE&E Technology, with a persistent focus on connecting all the pieces of the business. All the components that make up the organization – engineering, product, design, operations, support and more – come together and move the business forward with oversight, effective prioritization, and guidance. This team synthesizes information from across the business to ensure leaders are armed with all the necessary data before making strategic and financial decisions. From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to ways of working, and resource management, Business Operations has transparency and input into all aspects of the team.

The Technical Project Manager II will focus on the planning and execution of implementing global data privacy requirements, such as CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This role collaborates with technical teams to drive adoption of the OneTrust Consent Management Platform (CMP) solution across DE&E Technology web, mobile, and connected TV products.

Responsibilities:

● Develop a cross-functional roadmap outlining Data Privacy onboardings, enhancements, and sustainment

● Execute on several projects concurrently while balancing competing and evolving priorities of technical and Privacy/Legal teams

● Facilitate project processes by creating, managing, and updating documentation

● Keep stakeholders informed of project statuses, updates, and risks

● Cultivate relationships across technical, business, and Privacy/Legal teams while serving directly as the end-to-end liaison for the Data Privacy program

● Identify project risks in a timely manner and drive resolution

● Demonstrate product knowledge and facilitate the development of requirements in consideration of known technical capabilities and limitations

● Work with Privacy/Legal teams to establish the needs of your team, continually communicate risks to all stakeholders, and facilitate discussions to help remove blockers

● Act as an advocate for Data Privacy across the broader organization to ensure technical implementations are prioritized across teams

● Work with Product lead to help define and create culture of the Data Privacy team

Basic Qualifications:

● 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager managing large scale projects

● Have technical literacy in order to be able to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentation

● Experience running a consumer application development project through the entire SDLC

● Knowledge of project management processes including Agile, Kanban, Waterfall

● Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

● Experience with project management tools, such as Airtable, Jira, and Confluence

● BA/BS Degree Required

The hiring range for this position in California and Washington is $102,500 - $137,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
