Job description
ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry has been retained by our client, an established property management company manager specializing in affordable housing, who is hiring:
Regional Manager - Affordable Housing
Responsibilities:
-Day to day operations of a portfolio of affordable housing properties including HUD, LIHTC and local State programs
-Supervise and direct a team of Property Managers
-Lead, mentor, coach and train the team
-Ensure properties are being maintained to the highest standards
-Compliance with HUD and local State programs are strictly adhered to
-Review all property budgets prior to implementation
-Proactively manage budget by reviewing property expenses for the region
-Audit files to ensure properties are maintaining regulatory compliance
-Evaluate property data to create strategic plans to optimize performance
-Develop strategic plans to achieve maximum occupancy
-Regularly visit and inspect properties within portfolio
-Oversee rent collections, delinquencies and occupancy levels
Qualifications:
-7+ years as Regional Manager experienced in affordable housing and supervising Property Managers
-Current working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC and local City and State programs
-Highly experienced in dealing with compliance issues, inspections, re-certifications
-Prepare for and attend agency inspections
-Maintain budgeted occupancy levels
-Current on applicable local and federal housing legislation
-Establish processes and procedures regarding compliance matters
-Regional budget control and management
-Professional demeanor, ability to deal with changing priorities
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Valid Driver's License
Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 Commensurate with experience, plus bonus and benefits package
