Job description
The candidate needs to be able to program on CAMWorks and be ITAR Compliant.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate needs to be able to program on CAMWorks.
- Utilize advanced programming skills to operate 3-5 axis mill and mill/turn machines, including expertise in OKK, Mazak, WFL, Mori Seiki systems
- Lead and guide machinists in efficient Set-Ups and First Article efforts
- Develop highly efficient and repeatable programs for complex aerospace components manufacturing
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to support, design, and optimize fixtures for streamlined manufacturing processes
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshoot programming, technical, and tooling issues for immediate resolution
- Stay current with latest advancements in 3D modeling software, fixturing design, and programming within the aerospace industry
- Ensure meticulous maintenance of relevant documents, encompassing both physical and electronic filing of documents and programs
- Adhere to AS9102 Rev-D Compliance standards
Requirements:
- Showcase a high level of proficiency and/or mastery in CAD/CAM software
- Demonstrate mastery in model-based programming techniques
- Possess in-depth knowledge of aerospace components, with a bonus for familiarity with landing gear.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of engineering principles, tooling, and GD&T
- Experienced in fixture design Minimum of 5 years of experience with CNC Mill machines
- Comprehensive knowledge of tooling requirements
- Expertise in probing and dynamic offsets If you are a highly skilled and experienced programmer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in programming aerospace components.
