Job description
At Disney Branded Television (DBT), we are inviting you to go behind the scenes with this exciting opportunity supporting our talent relations team! As the Talent Relations Coordinator you will play a key role in coordinating talent travel, schedules, logistics, gifting, and invoicing. This role will work across DBT’s live action and animated titles.
The ideal candidate is great at multi-tasking, possesses a positive attitude and poise, and is a team player who can work collaboratively and efficiently. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with impeccable attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines, is also required.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and project support for the Vice President and Director of the department
Work with Travel Team to coordinate travel accommodations for talent, book hair/makeup/wardrobe styling, and prepare detailed itineraries
Handle gifting for milestones, birthdays, congrats, awards, etc. (Brainstorm/research bespoke gift ideas; work with internal teams to source, order and wrap the items; gather and compile contact information; handle all shipping/delivery details)
Coordinate and fulfill talent requests for experiences at Disney Parks properties
Interact with talent and talent representatives in a professional manner
Manage and keep up-to-date multiple trackers for gifting, birthdays, talent databases, event calendars, etc.
Assist with new hire paperwork and the onboarding of new vendors
Process invoices and p-card/expense reports for the department
Budget tracking of travel costs, tickets and gifts
Support team at events/shoots/appearances, as needed
Coordinate special requests from talent, as needed
Qualifications:
1+ year of related work experience in the entertainment industry in talent relations or related field
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Ability to grow and foster internal and external relationships; work collaboratively with talent and talent representatives
Demonstrated writing and presentation abilities
Self-motivated, proactive and capable of both working within a team environment and independently
Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP and Google Docs
A sound work ethic, desire and commitment to accept increasingly greater challenges and responsibilities
Ability to work nights and weekends. Some travel may be required
Ad hoc departmental assignments as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
