The Wellness Company is seeking a dedicated Remote Pharmacy Technician with expertise in managing discount card programs. You will play a vital role in facilitating access to affordable medications for our customers. Job Duties:
- Utilize discount card programs to maximize cost savings for customers.
- Verify insurance information and eligibility for discount programs.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and documentation accurately.
- Work with customer service to address issues and ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a retail or mail-order pharmacy setting strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software systems and discount card platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Proficient working with a computer and patient portals.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy laws.
