About the Role:

You'll play a vital role in supporting our commitment to excellence in product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. You'll be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to providing technical and administrative support for microbiological testing, documentation control, supplier quality management, and cold chain monitoring. Additionally, you'll be involved in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing our processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support menu innovation and optimize ingredient sourcing, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments for new ingredients and perform food safety audits of high-risk suppliers.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all ingredients and suppliers.
Manage cold chain approvals and ensure incoming materials meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement procedures to maintain food safety during transport.
Provide support for food safety SOPs at remote warehouse facilities.
Serve as the company liaison for regulatory inspections and conduct necessary training for stakeholders.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements:

At least 1 year of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with GSuite applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic and evolving organization.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal food regulations, including USDA and FDA guidelines.
Experience interacting with regulatory agencies such as the Department of Health.
Positive attitude, collaborative nature, and a commitment to building strong relationships.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify trends and drive actionable insights.
Ability to work in refrigerated environments and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
