ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP

Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking Interns with a background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering to join our team right now (this is not summer internship, that will be posted later), . ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to: rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing.  

**This position is fully on-site at Empirical System's Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CA 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in all engineering efforts: Requirements, Design, Built, Test, Delivery
• Help to create solutions to complex technical problems
• Build and set up equipment
• Assist in the creation of prototypes
• Assist in creating build documentation
• Utilize machining tools to modify and create parts
• Assist with Work Packets

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Current or recent engineering student
• Demonstrated clear communication & writing skills
• Demonstrated application of engineering knowledge and skills
