Job Description

The external reporting Accountant within Robert Bosch LLC‘s Global Business Services organization plays a critical role in providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information and accounting guidance and support to key stakeholders of the company. Under general supervision, the position will be responsible for external reporting-related activities for various entities throughout North America. The Accountant must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a talented team, focused on working efficiently to promote work/life balance. The Accountant must be adaptable to change and must be able to take initiative, work independently and problem solve with support from the team. 

Primarily responsibilities include interim and year-end consolidation and financial reporting, current forecast consolidation, government reporting, external audit coordination and support and technical accounting research and evaluation, while also supporting with specific account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and special projects, as needed.

Basic

Qualifications

: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a large, complex corporate or public accounting environment

Preferred

Qualifications

:

• CPA Certification and public accounting experience
• Financial reporting and general ledger 
• Proficient knowledge of computer skills including MS Office applications, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups, etc.) 
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• SAP experience
