E06Position Summary
Provides leadership and directs the operations of CNM's Accessibility Services Department. Provides leadership for accessibility initiatives across the College and supports enrollment, retention, and graduation efforts for students with disabilities.Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
(Individuals must clearly meet all minimum requirements in the resume to be considered for an interview):
Bachelor's and 5 years of related experience working with adults with disabilities or ADA framework (with at least 3 years of supervisory experience),
OR
Master's and 3 years of related experience working with adults with disabilities or ADA framework (with at least 3 years of supervisory experience).
Preferences (Preferences are used to further differentiate between applicants' eligibility for interview/hiring):
Professional experience in higher education, community college setting,
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups across varied settings,
Ability to evaluate ASL Interpreters,
Demonstrated leadership experience related to accommodation determination, accessibility compliance, or disability rights.
This position currently requires on-campus presence at least 80% of the time.
