Job description
We have a 3-year 100% onsite Senior ASP .NET Developer contract at our client offices in Jackson Mississippi. The anticipated start is February 1, 2024, through February 1, 2027, and may be extended by our client.
This is strictly an onsite assignment. No other working arrangements will be entertained. Do not apply for this assignment unless you are willing to fully commit to always working onsite in Jackson, Mississippi. If the Senior ASP .NET Developer asks for alternate working arrangements in the interview they may immediately be disqualified. If alternate working arrangements are asked for after the Senior ASP .NET Developer starts work, they may immediately be released from the contract.
Our client is seeking a talented and highly effective Senior ASP .NET Developer to join our development and support team. Our client is currently supporting, enhancing, and maintaining statewide applications. The enhancements include use of latest technologies as needed to interface and integrate with other systems on different platforms and automation of current processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years' experience in Software Development and analysis, design and development of applications primarily using ASP.NET.
- 10 years' experience with MVC Frameworks 5.0/4.0 and 10 Years implementing controller actions and Views, Partial Views, Areas, Sections, Strongly Typed Views and View Models with State Management, Security, caching features and configuring optimizations.
- 4 years' experience with automated eligibility determination systems.
- 3 years demonstrated ability to provide subject matter expertise on system architectures.
- 3 years demonstrated ability to provide recommendations regarding enhancements for the systems and processes.
- 3 years' experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.
- 3 years' experience training end users on software Technical/Business Skill Set Requirement.
- 2 years knowledge of SNAP and TANF eligibility and economic assistance policies and procedures, and current state and federal mandates as implemented or similar to those in MAVS, the Mississippi statewide eligibility determination system.
- 2 years' experience interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates using Webservices, Microservices, SOAP and Restful WCF and Web API for systems such as Client Application Registration systems.

- Experience with SCRUM/lteration methodologies.
- Experience with Jira Software.
- Ability to work on many projects at one time.
- Experience converting outdated technologies to new cutting edge technologies.
