PROMOTOR COMUNITARIO

Title: Promotor Comunitario (UCB1)

Starting Wage: $20 per hour

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Location: Sacramento, CA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Status: Regular, Part Time (30 hours per week)

Effective Date: February 2024 ending on or before August 31, 2024

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Promotor Comunitario will conduct outreach and awareness
activities in the assigned region to increase understanding of labor laws and workplace health and safety protections and
other resources. The focus is information dissemination and outreach to workers about the impacts of COVID-19 in the
workplace, workplace health and safety laws, paid sick leave rights, and employee protections.

There is no minimum educational requirement.

EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize a reliable alternative method of transportation when needed to
carry out job-related essential functions. Valid automobile liability insurance.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, groups, and the public. A bilingual
candidate in Spanish and English is highly desired.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Basic computer skills for the purpose of data entry during enrollment events, sending and receiving email, and calendar
scheduling. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel locally within the assigned region as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee will sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers up to 35% of the time. The employee will be driving/traveling up
