JANUS Research Group is currently hiring for an Aviation Combat Element (ACE) Subject Matter Expert/Planner to support the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL) Experiment Division. The objective of this effort is to conduct R&D to identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts, and comprehensively explore options to inform the combat development process and meet the challenges of future operating environments. This effort shall enhance the ability of MCWL FD EX DIV to plan, support, integrate, and report on live-force experiments conducted as stand-alone events or in conjunction with FMF unilateral, joint, or combined exercises.

Target Salary: $90k-$100k

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with DoD organizations
• 2+ years of experience in a joint or Service Headquarters organization
• Experience with conducting strategic-level planning and wargaming for the U.S. Marine Corps
• Experience with U.S. Marine Corps ACE capabilities, posture, and operations
• Ability to coordinate with multiple, non-matrixed stakeholders to gather data
• Ability to interface with other key stakeholders on issues related to allies and partners, international engagements, and strategic development
• Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer and Flag Officer
• United States Citizenship
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in working with senior executive-level officials
• Experience as a USMC pilot or aviation command and control
• Knowledge of U.S. military considerations globally
• Possession of excellent research, analytic, and writing skills
• Master's degree
