Job Posting Title: Director, Underwriting - Remote

Job Description:
As the Director of Underwriting, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for providing critical information, analyses, and support for Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Your role is pivotal in developing pricing terms and structures that align with our organization's objectives. Additionally, you will serve as an expert consultant on underwriting matters, ensuring financial considerations are meticulously evaluated.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and daily guidance to our underwriting team, ensuring expert support and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute pricing and margin strategies.
- Oversee workflow and coordination within the underwriting team, ensuring timely and accurate responses to RFPs.
- Consult with legal and client engagement teams to ensure contractual terms are accurately reflected and support underwriting decisions.
- Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures and ensure proper documentation of all bids.
- Collaborate with management on staffing plans and initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. High school diploma or GED required.
- 8 years of related experience and/or training.
- 5 years of leadership/people management experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in mathematical applications used in underwriting, coupled with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership.
- Experience in negotiating and influencing key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an Underwriting Manager with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:
- Various physical requirements including sitting, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Senior Director of Financial Modeling in the Finance department.

Salary Information:
Potential pay for this position ranges from $125,200.00 - $200,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
