Role: Product Designer
Location: Remote
Job Description:
- The main function of a Product Designer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) to support business requirements.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Key projects they will be making designs for Enterprise search, which can show up in Bing SERP, Windows, and the Bing work vertical.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm
- The team working on the forefront of new experiences for our customers in search, maps, advertising, and news. We collaborate in a customer-driven environment where our decisions are grounded in responsible design, creating experiences that make the web a better place for every person and organization on the planet to achieve more.
- 80% heads down designing and user testing, 20% meetings, 10% design review
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 2-4 years experience required
- Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML)
- Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
- Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
Top 3 Skills:
- Mobile/Desktop app experiences (being able to design across different platforms. | 2-4+ Years of Experience
- Understanding of UX (user experience, web, and mobile interaction patterns). Strong visual/UI design skills. |2-4+ Years of Experience
- FIGMA | 2-4+ Years of Experience
Portfolio/Reel review is required.
