Join Our Dynamic Team as an HR Manager at Caremed, Inc.
Your Role: As our HR Manager, you'll be the cornerstone of our human resources operations. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing key HR functions like recruitment, retention, compensation, and benefits. You will coordinate disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and ensure our team gets the best in training and development.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain our employee databases (Hireology and Alayacare) with precision
- Supervise and ensure secure, compliant record-keeping for all staff
- Lead and innovate recruitment activities; including tracking performance metrics for each event
- Champion the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires
- Collaborate with our Strategic Operations Director to align staffing strategies with organizational goals
- Train Business Office Coordinators and staff in effective interview techniques and hiring processes
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, consistently updating our policies and practices
- Be the go-to person for workers' compensation and unemployment claims processing
- Stay ahead of HR trends, applying your insights to continually refine our practices
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff handling HR responsibilities
- May supervise one or more employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a business-related field, or training/experience equivalent, plus at least one year of HR supervisory/management experience
- Excellent organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving, research, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws, OSHA, and HIPAA.
- HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM) preferred
- Valid State of Virginia Driver’s License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to pass a criminal history and CPS background check
- Willingness to travel to other locations as needed
