Job description
This is professional services work in administering an occupational health program. Maine is an OSHA State Plan for State and Local Governments only.This position is part of our workplace safety and health enforcement unit. Work is performed under limited supervision.
Primary responsibilities include:
Collects and analyzes information regarding industrial processes in order to identify potential health hazards.

Minimum qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology, Chemistry, or related science and two (2) years specialized experience in a chemical, environmental, or related industrial hygiene field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
