As a Patient Access Representative, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to patients during each interaction. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and friendly environment. Your key responsibilities include:

• Effectively managing a high volume of incoming calls and efficiently directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals within the organization.
• Providing accurate and detailed information about our services, appointment availability, and procedures to patients.
• Assisting patients with scheduling appointments, coordinating with physicians' schedules, and addressing any necessary rescheduling.
• Maintaining patient records accurately and confidentially, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed correctly.
• Collaborating seamlessly with other team members to ensure a smooth patient experience from scheduling to check-in.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we require the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate medical jargon in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, as you will be managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications for scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• An empathetic nature and genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
