Job description
Analyzes and enters data online for Grant Funded Adult Education Program.
- Work hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- The salary for this position is $20.00/hour.
- 45% Aggregates and enters program attendance, funding, and performance data in two databases (state database and locally maintained comprehensive database). Creates and maintains spreadsheets, reports, workbooks, correspondence, and publishing. Actively participates in state TEAMS list. Serves and submits data questions according to state guidelines. Maintains attendance and performance files. Creates systems to streamline data process.
- 30% Trains instructors on TEAMS, data management, weekly and monthly reports, accountability and confidentiality issues. Monitors progress and attendance and reports significant changes or trends to the coordinators and director. Attends recommended state training events and stays current on TEAMS updates and changes.
- 20% Runs GED match reports and corrects information. Runs internal audit information in TEAMS.
- 5% Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor.

- Accurately enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer.
- Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of the data to be entered.
- Processes daily jobs within scheduled deadlines.
- Provides friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all internal and external customers.

- A high school education or GED is required.
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience is required.
- College level business coursework and/or experience with an online data reporting system is preferred.
- Excellent typing skills on computer keyboard and accuracy are required.
- Extensive experience with all Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Must have ability to use working mathematical knowledge and analyze data and solve problems of a complex nature.
- Must have diligent work ethic and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
- Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (student, visitors and vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
This position requires three professional references. This position is considered a security sensitive position and will require a criminal background check.
