Job Summary:

As a Technical Business Analyst II/SQL Server Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business processes and workflows, particularly in the transfer of data within our Lawson Financial applications for GL, CB, and AP. Your responsibilities will extend to developing, coding, managing, and testing changes to these processes, as well as contributing to the creation and maintenance of data models crucial for Financial and Headcount reporting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Resolve daily import issues promptly.
- Utilize technical workflow knowledge to identify and assist in resolving import and export errors.
- Design effective internal controls for new business processes and workflows.
- Clearly document all key actions in our issue tracking system.
- Create or update interface requirements.
- Develop, code, and execute test plans for new functionality.
- Act as a backup to other department analysts and handle additional assigned duties.
- Work remotely in Texas and DFW areas or adopt a hybrid schedule (WFH/Remote - Monday and Friday, In-Office - Tuesday through Thursday).

Required Skills:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

- Workday proficiency preferred.
- Preferred experience with Lawson HCM and Financial applications, and Infor Process Automation (IPA).
- Expertise in creating data warehouse/data cubes.
- Proficiency in developing complex SQL queries, CTE, Indexing, stored procedures, views, functions, etc.
- Experience with SSIS, Informatica, or other ETL tools is advantageous.
- Strong skills in writing, maintaining, testing, and debugging code in T-SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various user departments and IT.
- Experience with balancing interfaces in or out of the general ledger or Accounts Payable module is a plus.
- Documented test plans and source control experience (git, VSTS, etc.).
- Strong number recognition skills.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with competency in spelling and grammar.
- Self-starter with the ability to objectively analyze, recognize problem situations, and develop system solutions.
- Team player mindset.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a quantitative discipline or Advanced Degree (Masters) in relevant fields.
- Minimum three to five years of ERP software experience.
- Substantial analytical experience in the Insurance industry preferred.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Workday experience highly preferred.
- Developer experience.
- Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS experience is advantageous.
- Tableau experience preferred.
- Strong SQL Server skills.
- Strong SQL Development Skills.
- SSIS Skills.
- SSAS Skills a Plus.
