We are seeking a vibrant Event Manager to enhance our team. In this role, you will orchestrate and oversee all aspects of events, collaborating closely with internal teams and volunteer committees to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities will span from setting and managing event budgets to coordinating event logistics, with a focus on maintaining consistency and excellence in every aspect of our events.
This position offers a hybrid work model, affording you the flexibility of two remote days and three in-office days. As an Event Manager, you may occasionally work outside standard office hours to manage events and provide support, including evenings and weekends as needed. Job Responsibilities:
Manage all facets of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, registration, logistics, staffing, and more.
Coordinate in-person, digital, and hybrid events, ensuring seamless execution across various platforms.
Foster and maintain relationships with vendors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee financial aspects of events, including budget tracking and invoice management.
Monitor and track event performance through reporting and email campaign analysis.
Coordinate event marketing efforts and collaborate on collateral creation.
Negotiate event space and secure sponsorships.
Handle invitations, and event correspondence.
Ensure event timelines are adhered to and deadlines are met.
Liaise with staff liaisons and committees to support event planning efforts.
Other Team Responsibilities:
Assist with additional staff functions and support calls as needed.
Process weekly batches and deposits.
Respond to all voicemails promptly.
Committee Responsibilities:
Serve as staff liaison for the Young Professionals Network Committee and Member Engagement Committee.
Attend committee meetings as necessary to facilitate event coordination.
Job Requirements/Skills:
2+ years of experience in managing and coordinating company events.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Event Management & Hospitality, or Public Relations preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for event facilitation.
Proficiency in MS Office programs and project management software.
