Job description
POSITION SUMMARY: The E-Commerce Planner will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and reporting online (desktop, tablet/mobile and app) marketing efforts for the E-Commerce department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up promotions for Menards.com for special order programs and any special promo types, such as BOGOs
· Page profitability and recap analysis (plan vs. actual)
· Development of style guide according to KPI tracking and testing results in coordination with Content Team Lead
· Coordinates and develops with Communications the core efforts of all marketing for Menards.com, including: push, email, targeted advertising, website product promotions, online marketing efforts with vendor landing pages and display advertising on Menards.com
- Coordination of Menards.com events and development in order to increase profitability and KPIs.
- Develops and implement best URL links, UTM parameters, and KPI data collection for Ecommerce
- Coordinate vanity URL and QR codes for signage in store and impact analysis.
- Reviews, addresses and corrects issues related to sellability of department product on Menards.com
- Competitive analysis of marketing efforts and development of plans for desktop, tablet, mobile and app
- Team Member performance will be tracked according to developed programs and increase in profit and KPIs

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred or related experience
- Ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines is essential
- Strong attention to detail and must be organized
- Understanding of best practices related to search engine optimization
- Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Analytical problem solving skills
· Must have strong work ethic and be able to take direction, be open-minded to change and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must be available to work 40 hours/week, plus overtime as needed
- Relocation to Eau Claire, WI is required
