We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant at our exciting and vibrant video game lounge. As a Front Desk Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our gaming lounge.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Check-in and check-out customers, ensuring accurate records of their gaming sessions
- Assist customers in selecting and setting up gaming equipment, including consoles, controllers, and peripherals
- Provide information on available games, gaming tournaments, and special events
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries, providing detailed information about the lounge's services and policies
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, ensuring a neat and appealing appearance
- Monitor gaming stations and enforce lounge policies to ensure fair usage and an enjoyable experience for all customers
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating gaming tournaments and special events
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred
- Passion for video games and knowledge of current gaming trends and popular titles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with gaming consoles and peripherals
