Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - Day Shift

 

The Opportunity
Currently seeking a manufacturing professional to fill the role of Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to be part of our team in Menomonee Falls! Under the supervision of the Shipping Department Manager, responsibilities include picking, packing and processing domestic and international shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. Other responsibilities include receiving all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods. Attention to detail is a must for checking received goods against purchase orders by part numbers and quantity, to properly identify materials.  E xperience with inventory maintenance in a warehouse setting and forklift operation are required. Hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications (Job Requirements)

  • Prior shipping and certified forklift experience is required ( 1-2 years of similar experience is preferred)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting shipping requirements and specifications on domestic and international shipments
  • Must be able to use computers ( i.e. SAP, Microsoft office- Excel, Word, Outlook email) accurately to complete transactions
  • Ability to complete cycle counts and maintain detailed inventory records
  • General aptitude and attitude to learn new concepts.

    Essential Job Functions (Primary Duties and Responsibilities)  
    • Prepare order availability list and print warehouse pick lists of domestic and foreign shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications
    • Pick, pack and check shipments for correct materials, packing, shipping method and labeling per guidelines
    • Process shipments through computer-based software
    • Complete necessary paperwork for shipments per instructions and contact carriers for pick up when ready
    • Receive all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods, check received goods against purchase orders or receiving papers
    • Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations or proper production storage area
    • Help load and unload trucks when needed
    • Pull materials needed for production areas, make inventory transactions in SAP and deliver materials to proper area
    • Prepare cycle count sheets and do cycle counts
    • Retrieve unused material from production and return to storage location
    • Fill in as needed for Packaging Clerk ( operate scale and wrapping machine)
    • Maintain a clean and well organized work area
