Description About the Program
UKG's Intern Academy program is dedicated to helping college students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. Our interns work on enriching projects that have a significant business impact on the future of our company. In addition to your day-to-day work with your team, interns get to experience our award-winning culture through mentorship, learning programs, team-building activities, networking events, and more. UKG is looking for an intern to join the Procurement Operations team! As an intern in procurement, you will work in various aspects of a global finance organization and gain experience working cross functionally. In this role you will be placed in our procurement team, focused on procurement analytics, RFI/RFP efforts and overall Procurement operations. Responsibilities could include:
- Preparing financial and operational reports and manage large volumes of data for analyses
- Supporting recurring vendor analyses
- Preparing data analytics/dashboarding of key procurement metrics
- Supporting the enhancement of procurement related tools
- Inputting contracts into our contract's repository
- Optimizing efficiency in existing and newly created processes
Qualifications Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree - preference will be given to December 2024 & May 2025 graduates
Pursuing a major in finance, accounting, business, or another related field
Able to commit to a full-time internship for 12 weeks starting late May through mid-August 2024
Microsoft suite proficiency, with an emphasis on Excel
Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external partners
Program Dates: May 20th - August 16th
