As a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer omnichannel brand (bricks and mortar, ecommerce, home delivery), we are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as the Brand PR & Social Lead.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing public relations and social media strategies to enhance and elevate the brand's presence and awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape and creator culture.

We are looking for a candidate who is a creative thinker, but also don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty. We are focused on building a best-in-class customer centric brand, and you will have a significant role in helping us put the brand on the map. This role is perfect for the person looking to make a big impact on a soon to be household name brand.

This is an in-office role, Monday-Friday, based in Doral, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Storytelling & Content Creation 20%

·Support head of marketing to develop and articulate the brand's narrative, ensuring a consistent and compelling story across all communication channels.

·Manage brand manager, agency partners and external resources for all marketing assets creation.

·Regularly analyze data and provide insights to optimize PR / Social strategies and maximize the impact of marketing campaigns.

 

Public Relations and Crisis Management 40%

·Devise and implement comprehensive PR strategies to build and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders for customer acquisition.

·Manage press releases, media outreach, brand partnership, events and coordinate interviews to secure positive media coverage.

·Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to manage and mitigate potential reputational risks, in partnership with customer care and corporate comms team.

 

Social Media & Community Building 40%

·Develop and execute social media strategies and concepts that align with overall brand objectives and business goals.

·Create and curate content for various social platforms, fostering engagement and building a loyal online community.

·Establish and nurture relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry thought leaders to drive customer acquisition.

·Monitor social media channels for trends, sentiment, and opportunities to engage with the online community.

 

Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

·8+ years of combined marketing communications, social media and public relations experience (ideally consumer packaged goods related)

·Proven experience in developing and executing successful PR and social media strategies for brands.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.

·In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

·Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders. Those who has experience working within the food category with existing influencer and media network will be a bonus.

·Experience in crisis management and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

·Thinking strategy, but also being a hands-on team player

·Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to inspire a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint applications.

·Strong knowledge and comfort for the nationwide US consumer outside of the South Florida area.
