Job description
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join the leadership team. Ideal candidates will have 10 years of relevant operational experience with at least 5 of those years being in a management role. Experience in role managing multiple departments within a healthcare system preferred. Experience as an Assistant VP/VP Operations within a hospital is a plus.
- VPO is a strategic partner with the President in continuing to gain market share and enhance healthcare for the communities we serve.
- VPO has leadership over daily operations, including major revenue generating service lines
- The size of the organization allows the VPO to be an executive but also have relationships with frontline team members
Our senior leaders in Shawnee bring many years of experience to their roles and are very active within the community. They have collaborative relationships with medical staff and physician leadership and are looking for a VP of Operations that will also value building relationships within the hospital and community.
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee has been serving the health needs of Pottawatomie County and surrounding areas for more than 55 years and is the 2nd largest employer for Pottawatomie County. SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee offers a wide range of services, 128 patient beds, and physicians and staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional health care consistent with our mission.
Shawnee is a growing city of 40,000, located just 40 minutes east of Oklahoma City. In 2022, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee assumed operations of the hospital in the nearby town of Seminole, OK --now named SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Seminole. The leadership team in Shawnee is responsible for overseeing the addition in Seminole --which includes an ED, lab services, inpatient services, physical therapy and wound care.
