• Research and Development:
• Lead the formulation and development of rubber and plastic compounds for various applications.
• Conduct thorough analyses of raw materials to optimize product performance and meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in materials.
• Quality Control:
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of manufactured rubber and plastic components.
• Perform routine testing and analysis on finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
• Process Optimization:
• Work closely with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot any issues related to materials or chemistry.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that all products meet relevant compliance standards.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to prepare necessary documentation for product registrations.
• Team Collaboration:
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior chemists and other team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to achieve common goals.

Qualifications arrow_right

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proven expertise in formulating rubber and plastic compounds for industrial applications.
• Strong understanding of materials science, polymer chemistry, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and testing methodologies.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in the chemical and manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead projects, work independently, and contribute to a team environment.
