Job description
Entry Level PC Engineer
Essential Job Functions:
This position requires the successful candidate be able to perform the following activities:
· Provide engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance. This includes monitoring and evaluating product quality, analyzing and resolving manufacturing problems, and providing immediate and effective process troubleshooting.
· Work closely with raw material suppliers and vendors to improve performance/quality and maintain effective product feedback.
· Initiate and implement cost, efficiency and quality improvements in the production process.
· Monitor manufacturing data to evaluate product quality and production efficiency to support production goals. This includes effective process control counteraction initiatives.
· Initiate design improvement recommendations involving process and equipment optimization. This includes cost-reductions and budgetary control of current and future processes.
· Maintain all aspects of quality, including standards, process standards, customer quality, internal quality, vendor quality documentation and prepare reports as necessary.
· Communicate with production personnel and sales on the status of ongoing projects and issues. Participate in operations planning and scheduling meetings as required by the organization’s management group.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering preferred
· Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
