Responsibilities

 

What you'll be challenged to do:

TranSystems is hiring an entry level Structural Engineer for State College, PA. The ideal candidate will have intern experience in vertical structures design, and an interest in learning and working on diverse project assignments which may include steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design of building structures and miscellaneous structural assignments. A person whom is willing to travel for work assignments is required. The proposed candidate will be expected to learn various design standards suzh as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, TMS, and NDS as well as model structures using engineering software such as TEDDS, RAM Structural System, and RAM Elements. In addition, the individual should be familiar with and willing to learn the use of REVIT for the production of construction documents.  The individual will be called on to work closely with other teams on multi-disciplinary projects.  The engineer will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects in a unique and dynamic work environment.
