Program Coordinator

35 hours per week / $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Supervision Responsibilities: Under the guidance and directive of the Adult Team Services Program Manager, will assist with the organization and direction of the Personal Services Coordinators and other assigned staff of the Adult Integrated Service Team. Provides leadership responsibilities for team members during program or service activities and provide secondary on-call services based on the psychosocial rehabilitation model of treatment and services.

Summary: Under the general supervision of the Program Manager the Program Coordinator will assist with the work of multi-disciplinary team providing services to program members. The goal of the entire team is to assist people with mental illness to live as independently as possible in their chosen community. The Program Coordinator works under the direction and guidance of the Program Manager as a trainee learning to building the leadership skills needed to work cooperatively with the service teams; to plan, coordinate and facilitate the smooth and efficient delivery of all Personal Services Coordinators and allied services/programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MATRIX--one of the following combinations is required:

High School Diploma or GED + Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing psychosocial rehabilitation related services to disabled population plus experience in a supervisory/leadership role.

or

AA degree in a human service field + Minimum 4 years experience providing employment-related services or sales.

or

Bachelors degree in a specific rehabilitation related field or marketing (e.g. rehabilitation counseling) + Minimum 4 years experience providing employment-related services to a disabled population or sales.
