Accounts Receivable Analyst Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This position will lead End-to-End Customer Issue Resolution Management and analysis for customers in one of the Business Groups for the USAC Customer Operations. You will also research and analyze customer-specific payments, adjustments, delinquencies, and creditworthiness to identify root-cause issues and implement preventative action plans.
What you’ll do as an Accounts Receivable Analyst: - Support customers and internal partners by partnering with business group customers and internal clients such as the sales teams to resolve delinquent accounts
- Work independently to perform vigorous collection activity on past due accounts through telephone, email, fax, and written communication
- Resolve all types of credit and returns complaints such as incorrect quantity, incorrect product, delivery, pricing, and tax
- Analyze and work to identify payment deductions from customers by research and analysis to determine the root cause for deduction until final resolution by issuing adjustments for reconciliation and/or performing vigorous collection activities and obtaining repayment
- Check and analyze customer orders according to credit policies, customer status, and risk to release or maintain hold for past due/delinquent accounts
- Adress customer issues by telephone and/or perform collection activities by phone
- Applies analytical skills to interpret trends and the company's data-generated reporting systems/applications/databases through extensive usage of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other systems
- Efficiently build credibility and trust with customers and businesses through timely and accurate CIR resolution processing What you’ll bring to the Accounts Receivable Analyst role:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in such fields as business administration, finance, accounting, economics
- Experience with customer service processes and systems, including, Salesforce and SAP
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in financial statements analysis, negotiation, and credit and financial counsel principles
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI Reporting
- Demonstrate strong organizational and soft skills
- Demonstrate strong initiative with process improvement activities and ability to influence change management activities
- Experience leading/participating in Lean Sigma projects, cross-functional teams, or equivalent.
