Job description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse, Clinical Supervisor with RN managing experience to provide leadership, guidance, and supervision of the clinical staff.

The Practice Clinical Supervisor, RN, in this role would oversee AMG Diabetes & Endocrinology at Morristown, AMG Metabolic Medicine at Morristown, and AMG Nephrology at Morristown in collaboration with the Practice Manager.

Essential Functions:

• The Practice Clinical Supervisor, RN, will be responsible for the clinical day to day operations of the center-patient satisfaction, scheduling, budgets, etc
• Provides direct patient care, which includes preparation for patient visit, assessment, advocating for patient, working in conjunction with physician with medications, and care plans
• Provides assistance and guidance, and serves as an expert resource to Certified Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses
• Conducts phone triaging 
• Oversees medication management 
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
• Oversees practice clinical projects and initiatives 
• Assists in cost management, including product evaluation, prevention of waste/damage, room utilization, control of overtime, floor coverage due to low staffing and appropriate staffing
• Coordination of stock management including medications, clinical supplies, and others
• Other related duties as assigned

Education:

• RN Degree required. BSN preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid NJ RN License
• BLS preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a physician practice required
• Prior supervisory experience required
• Excelled verbal/written communication skills essential
• EPIC EMR knowledge desired
