Job description
Kforce's client, a well-known Luxury Retail client in Rocklin, CA, is currently seeking a talented Linux Engineer to join their team and play a key role in an upcoming migration project from CentOS to Rocky Linux.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in Linux systems administration to support and maintain our infrastructure
- Develop and implement automation solutions using Bash scripting to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency
- Manage and troubleshoot server environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives
- Participate in the migration project from CentOS to Rocky Linux, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations
- Provide support for Storage Area Networks (SAN) administration and management
