ABOUT THE ROLE & PROGRAM
Disney Entertainment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including motion picture film studios, television divisions, and streaming!
Our team supports cross-functional marketing teams in studios, core brand, and franchises with full lifecycle digital and social content production.
Ready to play a meaningful role in the development of campaign assets from ideation to development to launch/execution? Join our team as a digital content operations intern! If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Creative Production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As our intern, your role is all about campaign and asset management. Where you will:
Contribute to video content strategy and collaborate with the marketing & production teams to research, pitch, and project-manage video content from conceptualization to publishing across all platforms.
Coordinate meeting agendas and share all relevant meeting notes with the attendees.
Support the team on production shoots, including assisting with pre-production and day-of shoot tasks.
Assist in content creation including pitching social media concepts, screening movies & series, pulling time codes, and more.
Stay up to date on project slate and support Airtable tracking, including adding in live links and sharing back insights.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across various teams
Able to prioritize multiple projects and workflows demonstrating strong leadership skills
Adept in various digital tools, trends, and platforms (TikTok, X, Meta, Snap) and other emerging digital platforms
Meticulous attention to detail, maintaining high standards of precision and accountability in every task
Some travel and non-traditional work hours may be required depending on business needs.
D23 in Anaheim, CA (8/9, 8/10, & 8/11): During their time with us, we will ask our intern to become heavily involved in the planning and execution of various activities for our clients. The intern needs to be available to travel to Anaheim during the week of 8/9-8/11 for this purpose.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interest and passion for entertainment and emerging trends in the evolving digital world.
A genuine affinity for the diverse content and creative efforts across the Studios
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Airtable and Box
EDUCATION
Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media or related field.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS & PROGRAM INFORMATION
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through August 2024
Able to be fully available for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank/Glendale, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
