Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice therefore we have a need for an experienced  Senior Transportation CAD Technician to support transportation projects in the Northwest.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Working with design team lead to identify and manage submittals
• Reviewing related designs, layouts, and drawings.

• Ensuring quality control in compliance with CADD standards and ProjectWise file organization.
• May lead and mentor junior level highway cad technicians.

Typical pay range for this position, if hired as a Career level is $29.04/hour to $50.82/hour.  If hired as a Senior level, typical salary is $36.01/hour to $62.98/hour.  Pay is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• A CAD Technical Degree or equivalent AA degree
• At least 10 years design/drafting experience on highway/roadway projects
• At least 5 years design/drafting experience in the use of MicroStation
• Must have experience with state and local agency transportation projects (ideally WSDOT)• Must have a clear understanding of PS&E tasks.
• Proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Exhibits planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion
• Excellent attention to detailing of complex civil design components

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience with InRoads
• Experience with Projectwise Setup experience
