Job description

Responsibilities are centered around patient experience, productive scheduling, effective communication, financial fluency, and having a
business-centric mindset :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting.
- Promoting excellent customer service by all levels of the staff.
- Executes filing claims, taking payments, handling of insurance payment, posting insurance payments, able to control A/R.
- Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences.
- Understanding of dental insurance policies, EOB, claims, pre-determinations, revenue cycle management, and verifications.
- Proficient at presenting treatment plans.
- Management of business aspects of the practice. Posting payments and insurance claim processing.
- Run and interpret business reports.
Requirements:
- History working dental Front desk.
- Knowledge of maintaining supplies and equipment for the dental setting.
- Multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication and presentation skills, including face-to-face, email, telephone, and video conference.
- Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices.
- Ability to communicate professionally with dentists, hygienists, allied health staff, administrative staff, frontline staff, contractors, governmental agencies, insurance payers, patients, family members of patients, suppliers, and the general public, of all age levels from child to senior citizen.
