Are you passionate about driving sales and making a significant impact in the dynamic world of the spirits industry? We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager in California, where you'll play a crucial role in leading both on- and off-premise sales. No prior industry experience required - just a drive to excel and exceed expectations!

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate a pipeline of innovative business ideas to propel brand growth.
Collaborate closely with leadership to understand diverse customer needs and identify avenues for business expansion.
Conduct market surveys and meticulously log sales activity into our system.
Work with the leadership team to craft and implement a strategic selling plan for optimal sales growth.
Foster strong relationships with local distributor teams through creative partnerships to drive sales in various channels.
Identify key customer targets aligned with the sales plan to meet overall sales goals.
Ensure competitive pricing and optimal product margins to achieve division profitability goals.
Provide industry knowledge and support field sales through effective customer interactions.
Deliver engaging sales presentations and act as a 'top-to-top' senior executive.
Take personal responsibility for delivering service excellence.
Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant business-related field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a similar role; spirits industry knowledge a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to develop and implement insightful market research protocols.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High level of discretion, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proactive, personable, and resilient with an arsenal of effective sales techniques.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels within and outside the organization.
Job Details:

Location: San Francisco, CA (Potential for Remote Work with Travel)
Salary: Commensurate with experience - Base salary, performance bonuses, car, and cell phone allowance, and potential stock options.
