Job description

An Accountant at OnLogic’s South Burlington, Vermont office will report directly to the Controller and assist with all daily functions of Global Finance. As a finance expert, you will be contributing to and improving the daily accounting, month-end and year-end close, reporting, and compliance in a fast paced environment.

As an Accountant, you will be a key person of influence and source of reliable information for the finance team, as well as for the broader OnLogic organization. On an average day, you'll...

• Prioritize, coordinate, and participate in the daily transaction flow (AP, AR, general ledger)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting transactions and processes
• Be the point of control for accounting transaction discrepancies or transactional issues
• Look for opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
• Identify areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies, including but not limited to team structure, workflow, cross-functional collaboration, and system and process changes 
• Support the FP&A function and annual planning process by providing financial data, KPIs, and analysis of revenue and spending.
• Support the close process to issue timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in all aspects of domestic and international accounting operations as required

Requirements

• 1+ of overall experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment is preferred, not required. 
• Strong attention to detail

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $52,000 to $58,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
