Overview:

Rigaku is a world leader in X-ray diffraction, scattering, fluorescence, imaging analyses, Raman spectroscopy, and thermal analysis equipment manufacturing. Rigaku group's Americas headquarters, Rigaku Americas Holding (RAH), is looking for talented entrepreneurs interested in and passionate about growing new business opportunities within our global operations. Interested parties must have experience with developing analytical solutions for industrial and technology customers and ideally, recent experience with diffraction and fluorescence analysis. Some experience in a Business Development environment is a plus. The successful candidate will be part of a multinational team of motivated professionals developing and nurturing new technologies and market solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Research within global industrial and technology markets to understand and build new application solutions to support market strategies.
• Identification and outreach to key customers through strategic relationships and technology partnerships.
• Develop new opportunities for application development, product expansion and innovation
• Translate and communicate market and customer requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Build application packages and solutions to ensure customer success and generate new revenue opportunities.
• Identify and document key industry ecosystems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent practical experience in key industries or with metrology and/or method development skills.
• at least 10 years relevant experience.
• Verifiable experience in developing new technical applications and solutions, especially involving diffraction and fluorescence analysis.
• Conversant from a technical and business perspective with customer requirements in technology and industrial environments.
• An entrepreneur with a passion to excel in a multicultural global community.
