Job description
Qualifications Summary: Driving dynamics team responsible for the early phase of supporting series production. They currently have 7 people on the team. Looking for someone to support in the commodity tire and wheels. This is pretty unique process within the tire. Plastic injection molding experience would be a big plus. There is also a supplier locally where the wheel and tire assembly is put together. This role would need IATF auditing skills as they would be auditing processes at suppliers to ensure they are following these processes. Need to have working knowledge of this but don t necessarily need to have auditing certificate. This person would be managing 5-6 suppliers in this role. The suppliers are at varying stages. Some are new suppliers and would be working in industrialization phase with them. Some suppliers are already established. Must have: Automotive manufacturing and assembly process experience required. Need to have knowledge of IATF auditing standards. Need to have good understanding of quality management systems. Nice to have: Some tire knowledge or someone worked in the tire industry. Plastic injection molding experience is also a plus. German language skills would be a big plus. Travel: 35% (regional travel and farthest supplier is about 8 hours in Illinois). Could possibly go to Germany once a year. Work from home: Onsite 100%
