We’re seeking an entry-level Associate Copywriter looking to work on awesome brands with awesome people. This individual works closely with their assigned team to provide strategic creative recommendations that align with the client’s brand/retailer objectives and budget. You provide outstanding skills in communications, creative writing, and concepting, in the most appealing and unique ways possible. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to one of our hub locations: Chicago, New York, Bentonville or Dallas.  Please include your portfolio link with your application-- resumes without portfolio links will not be considered. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with account and creative teams to develop concepts that meet predetermined objectives and strategies
• Develop an understanding of the Shopper Marketing discipline
• Assist team in creative execution, from initial concepts through production phase
• Work alongside art directors to provide copy solutions for visual elements
• Engage in new business presentations and spec work for potential clients
• All other duties as assigned by Associate Creative Director / Creative Director

SKILL SETS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications or related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of copywriting, marketing, or advertising experience, preferably agency experience in shopper marketing or retailer promotions
• A well-rounded portfolio of conceptual work, with strong writing, editing and grammar skills
• Self-starter personality with enthusiastic, “can do” attitude in accepting work/new challenges
• Effective interpersonal skills, working well across functions
• Conscientious work ethic
• High level of organization, attention to detail and innovation
• Good vibes and the desire to make cool stuff!

The salary range for this role is $50,000- $55,000.
