Job description
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, a small family-oriented Southern Baptist church that is located in the growing community of Cottontown, TN, is searching for a Bi-Vocational Pastor. He should be willing to teach and preach the whole counsel of God; salvation, biblical prophecy and the church’s role in a lost world. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience as lead pastor to be our pastor and shepherd. As a shepherd he would possess the ability to counsel members, visit the sick in the hospital and keep contact with our elderly members that can no longer attend.
We are looking for a pastor who is eager and equipped to help the church grow, not only in its relationship to the Lord, but in our service to our growing and thriving community. We are planning to expand our missionary presence through community outreach projects and provide life changing services within the community. Our goal is to find a strong family man, who, with his wife, will lead us by Christian example and sound teaching. We are excited about our church, its 125 year heritage, and strong Southern Baptist traditions, and want a pastor who is, as well.
