Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager
Job Location: South Bend, IN (Onsite)
Salary: $140k-$180k
Requirements: 5+ years

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Management? Do you excel in fluid systems and project management? If so, we want you to join our team! We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to develop, design, and construct systems for our manufacturing processes.

What You Will Be Doing

- Responsible for developing and constructing systems for our manufacturing processes
- Successfully lead engineering projects making sure all deadlines are met on time
- Work with our team to create designs and oversee the implementation of these solutions
- Interpret complex customer requirements and specifications into new designs
- Work with vendors on new or existing technology to solve design problems in a timely manner
- Develop and cost new designs for future growth opportunities and then complete all contracted production work efficiently and within budget

What You Need for this Position

- 5 years of experience in leading a team in Mechanical Design
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Knowledge of fluid systems/pumps, diesel engines, trailers or mechanical electrical
- Experience as a project manager/leading projects from start to finish
- Identify design issues and solutions/analysis
- Effectively work as part of a larger team, also able to be self-directed on individual projects
