Job description
Applicant should be skilled in the service and repair of all types air conditioning systems including commercial and residential. The applicant also needs to have a working understanding of building codes and electricity. Diversified experience with both residential and commercial equipment is very helpful, but technicians with experience in either market are welcome. Shifts will generally be Monday through Friday working eight hours, with 24/7 On-Call rotations.
Technicians must have their EPA certificate, a valid driver"s license, and required hand tools for the trade. This position requires the ability to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. All candidates must be able to lift up to fifty pounds in the course of performing their duties. Additionally, the applicant needs to have strong leadership and excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers. Must be fluent in English.
Duties
Troubleshoot & repair Commercial & Residential HVAC systems
Perform preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment
Participate in 24-7 on call rotation
Perform start-ups
Maintain up to date truck inventory
Attend Training programs
Make sure Service Van maintenance records are current
Assure complete customer satisfaction
Experience/Background
3 plus years as an HVAC Service Technician
Reading blue print and wire diagrams
Refrigeration piping
State and local codes
Clean Driving Record
Drug Free
EPA Certification
