Job description

Title: Assistant Program Manager
Reports to: Program Manager
Department: Community Fusion
Location: 1817 S Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90021
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Program Hours: Monday- Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with lunch waiver
Supervisory Responsibility: None

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, assist in the implementation of the Community Fusion program design.

Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors degree in human services field.

Experience: Two years working with individuals who have developmental or other disabilities.

Work Environment

This is a program for adults who have varying degrees of learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental  disabilities. Employee may encounter participants who are in crisis, exhibiting emotional/psychological distress or  behaving in an aggressive manner. Training will be performed on site and during community outings.  Occasional interactions include parents, regional center representatives, visitors, etc. Environment may include  frequent interruptions, loud noise, odors, varying indoor temperature, and drafts. Outdoor temperature and  weather will vary.
