Job description

Ascension Global Staffing and Executive Search is seeking a Patent Prosecution attorney for our Am Law 100 client. Our client's Intellectual Property team is seeking a highly qualified Patent Attorney in their Roseland, NJ, Centerville, UT, Washington, DC, or Palo Alto, CA locations.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have two to five years of solid experience as a Patent Attorney (additional experience as a Patent Agent is a plus) with significant experience preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications for software including operating systems, middleware software, directory servers, network management, virtualization and cloud computing.
• The Patent Attorney must have a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with work experience as a software developer, excellent academic credentials
• Must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
