Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Solutions. This role will be responsible for leading Airbus FMS SW programs for Cockpit Systems. Responsible for meeting cost and schedule commitments with the required quality. This role will require coordination and collaboration across several functional teams, Program Management, Engineering, Certification, Applications and OEM customer.

TECHNOLOGICAL & BUSINESS/STRATEGIC
-Acts as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the Airbus IPT programs.
-Work with key stakeholders of the programs assigned to successfully deliver on the Cost, Schedule, and quality commitments. Stakeholders including but not limited to other CAMs and functional leaders across multidisciplinary teams within and across COEs for planning and tracking various aspects of the project (budget, milestones, quality, staffing etc.). 
-Understand business objectives and drive the Improvement MOS to achieve the productivity and cycle time goals.
-Work with current and future customers to understand customer needs and their impact on future Honeywell planning and strategies.
-Drive SDP objectives for the COE and drive ES transformation

STRATEGIC IMPACT
-A change agent and a practitioner of organizational initiatives, steering NPD transformation initiatives.
-Process standardization among all the Airbus FMS programs.

PLANNING /COMMUNICATION/STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

-Accountable for assigned engineering scope on the programs and represent the team in front of Engineering leadership and Program Management for execution of all engineering work, and for working within the established program hierarchy when making key decisions.
-Accountable for QE process, works with technical teams to guide them on technical risks, opportunities and assumptions and arrive at efficient estimates.
-Drive the core competencies and continuous product skill development.
-Demonstrated ability on “Influencing without Authority” on innovative ideas and approaches.
-Strong MOS focusing on strengthening the communication and trust with team, stakeholders and customers.
-Work with Product and Functional leaders to prioritize programs, cost, schedule, quality, and resources and implement project objectives.
-Demonstrates expertise in a variety of program management practices and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent.
-10 years’ experience in avionics software/systems.
-Minimum 5 years of program management experience
-FMS Product knowledge, Microsoft Project, Kanban dashboard, Agile Project management, Jira,  SAP, ETC Mgr, AET, RPT, MAT, IMS, ESLOC estimation model.
-Great communicator, ability to influence teams, orienting them to be self-performing, and deliver exceptional business value.
-Follows a structured problem-solving approach; demonstrates agility and alacrity in execution and decisions.
-Prior knowledge on Honeywell-ABM Tools, IPDS Phases and PE/PM certification will be added advantage.
-Experience with preparation and execution of project plans, schedules, cost estimates, baseline change management, risk mitigation, technical design reviews, management reviews, customer coordination meetings, cost/schedule/status reporting.
-Experience leading multi-functional engineering teams within a global organization. Self-initiative to reach out to team and form effective working relationships.
-Experience in driving change through an organization.
-Strong communication skills, Green belt and/or DFSS certified.
-Experience in representing Honeywell in front of customers.
-Ability to grasp technical concepts rapidly. History of understanding avionics life cycle: requirements, development, test, flight test, certification.
-Strong communication skills, able to understand the project risks well ahead, take necessary actions.
