Maintenance Supervisor Primary Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property. This includes running a safe and effective maintenance program and maintaining all Life Safety and Fire Code responsibilities.
Maintenance Supervisor Essential Funtions
- Oversee and implement all maintenance department programs and activities.
- Repair/maintain heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and nurse call systems and fire safety equipment.
- Order/maintain maintenance supplies.
- Compliance with all regulatory expectations and annual compliance for Federal, State, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain all preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property.
- Assume the overall administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of supervising the Maintenance Dept. and contractual work.
- Provide security to the facility while at work and be available to respond to emergency needs at the facility while on/off work.
Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Technical or Trade school in Plumbming, HVAC, Electical
- Experience managing others
