Job description
Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a QA Tester for an opportunity with a client located in Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyse problems, reporting or escalating appropriately
- Ensuring quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release
- Providing feedback to the development team and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and quality requirements
- Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation for distribution with software releases
- Demonstrating new and updated functionality changes to internal staff where required
- Creates documentation of new applications
- Tests of Web Portal using HTML and CSS
- Tests of Web Portals using Ms
- Reviews documentation of developed applications
- Compares final product with requirements
Requirements:
- Preferred experience with SWP, Trust 3000, and/ Corporate Trust experience
- 5 plus years of experience in technical testing, bachelor's degree
- Experience with coordinating testing activities with multiple teams and individuals
- Can partner with business users to design tests that meet the specifics of the defined scope
- Experience in gathering test cases and managing test script completion from multiple teams and individuals
- Experience personally writing and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts -primarily business workflow and UI testing
- Experience in recording and validating defects. Defect validation includes defects created by others
- Experience in reporting test and defect status through clear, accurate, and timely metrics
- Meets testing schedules and manages team testing prep work accurately and on-time
- Solves problems proactively and independently or with minimal direction
- Escalates, when appropriate, blockers or issues that are causing success not to be reached
- Meets compliance, audit, risk, and regulatory requirements within the testing processes
- Can manage multiple efforts concurrently
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the testing team members
- Works proactively and consistently looks for and adopts new ways to improve role, communication, progress, and recommends changes to enhance the work
- Completes, with minimal direction, ad hoc Management program requests
